There has been seen a sudden rise in holiday homes, independent floors and villas that are equipped with gated communities as prospective buyers are looking for managed common amenities that offer a modern lifestyle and safe environment for a comfortable living. Although, developers and consultants have the same opinion of prioritizing safety and convenience for the buyers to offer a sense of security along with convenience.
Buyers have also pointed some common amenities such as a gym, pool and others which is only possible when a buyer proposes to buy an apartment or villas in an integrated township. According to the report, luxury and premium segments in gated communities have attracted more buyers than compared to budgeted and affordable segments.
It’s been seen that premium and luxury segments in gated communities account for 14%-15% of the rise and is expected that the contribution is going to touch 20% in the next five years. The prime reason for seeing such an increase is because high-income households have a higher preference to opt for gated communities and on the same line developers are providing offerings that are suitable for this segment.
Key drivers associated with growth in such communities are safety and access to amenities because gated communities offer access to primary facilities such as 24×7 power backup, water availability and some of the premium facilities such as swimming pool, clubhouse and gym.
