Delhi Development Authority (DDA), in its special move for the residents of Delhi, has announced to offer 15,000 flats of different categories at some of the prominent locations such as Narela, Rohini, Jasola and Dwarka in the upcoming housing scheme. The authority has decided to make the entire process of application, allotments and possession go online. It also stated that under this scheme, homebuyers will be offered mostly unsold flats from the last scheme launched DDA.
DDA in its statement stated that flats will be offered at old rates resulting in a good deal in relaxation. Also, DDA updates its costing strategy every year which is highly based on the appreciation/depreciation of the land cost. DDA has offered a very unique gift to its residents and trying to offer an opportunity to residents of Delhi to purchase a property.
The flats at Narela sub-city specifically are being offered after an improved infrastructure such as better connectivity, security, convenience, and infrastructure. Although these arrangements have been made on the feedback and suggestions of the residents of the allottees in the area, this would definitely boost the real estate market in the area and will make these homes more attractive to the buyers.
DDA has decided that the allottees need to visit the DDA office only for the execution of CD. The allottees will also be eligible for subsidy under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) from the central government if homebuyers avail of home loans from any bank/financial institution.
