Amalgamation of two flats allowed under DDA’s FCFS housing scheme

DDA’s recently unveiled housing scheme introduced a new provision that permits the amalgamation of two adjacent flats. The scheme has been receiving a positive response, with 4,000 registrations done so far. Under this provision, home owners with two adjacent flats will have the flexibility to merge them and expand the overall size of the property. If an applicant who had bought a property under the previous scheme plans to buy a new flat adjacent to the one they already own, the amalgamation regulations will also apply to them.

On June 14,DDA’s highest decision-making body approved the launch of its fourth phase of the urban bodies online first-come, first-serve housing scheme. Under the scheme, applicants can avail themselves of the facility of booking a flat in a preferred locality by paying the token amount. This scheme has received an encouraging response from the public, with approximately 4,000 registrations made so far. This amalgamation of two flats will be an added advantage for applicants seeking a more spacious home under the DDA housing scheme.

This scheme offers 1BHK apartments in Narela, Siraspur, Rohini, and Loknayak Puram; 2BHK apartments in Narela and Dwarka; and 3BHK apartments in Jasola.
