Roshan Jacob, the Divisional Commissioner, has directed the Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) to set up a one-window system to handle the queries of all eligible Pradhan Mantri Awaz Yojana (PMAY) applicants.
Jacob directed the officials to ensure that a system is put in place where qualified applicants can get all the required information about the housing scheme after hearing their plight regarding the difficulties they faced in getting the necessary information and subsequently applying for benefits under the Pradhan Mantri Awaz Yojana.
A total of 104 complaints were received during the day. Though 23 cases were resolved immediately, instructions were given to the concerned departments to resolve the remaining cases in a timely manner.
