For a flyover that will connect Shahberi village in Greater Noida West with Crossings Republik in Ghaziabad, a thorough project report is currently being prepared. The first site evaluation for the project, which attempts to alleviate chronic traffic congestion, has been finished by a team from the Central Road Research Institute (CRRI).
The route that currently connects Shahberi with Crossings Republik is 1 km long and 15 m wide. In addition to connecting these two locations, the route handles extra traffic since commuters use it to get from Ghaziabad to the Delhi-Meerut Expressway and the Noida link road.
The daily commuters face inconveniency by the frequent significant traffic congestion on this route.
