The Roads & Transport Department of the Uttar Pradesh government authorized the initial bus paths to connect Jewar International Airport with Botanical Garden Metro Station in Noida. The airport will start its commercial operations after this achievement takes place this year.

1. A bus route extends 42 kilometers through Pari Chowk to transport passengers from Jewar Airport to the Botanical Garden Metro Station.
The main bus route runs from Jewar Airport to Botanical Garden Metro Station by passing through Pari Chowk while covering 42 kilometers. The transportation system links the airport to Greater Noida’s central area for both airport visitors and local residents.
2. Rabupura serves as the starting point of the second bus route which continues to Noida sectors 20 and 21, Kulesara and Bhangel before ending at the metro station.
The 57 km route starts at Rabupura then passes through Noida sectors 20 and 21, Kulesara and Bhangel before reaching the Botanical Garden Metro Station. The route operated before the closure due to insufficient passenger numbers continues to operate. Four buses have been reinstated on this corridor.
3. The third route travels from YEIDA Office through Dankaur Chowk, Sector 17, Bhangel before arriving at the Botanical Garden Metro Station covering a distance of 51 km.
The third route begins at the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) regional office before proceeding to Dankaur Chowk, Sector 17, Bhangel before reaching the Botanical Garden Metro Station. The 51 km route connects residents from new residential areas and institutional zones to transportation.
Operational Details & Approvals
The UP Roads & Transport Department approved the routes but the Ghaziabad RTO will conduct the final steps of bus permit issuance together with bus number assignments , operational frequency and operator selection. UPSRTC together with private sector companies will operate the transportation services.
Buses will start their operations in July 2025 which corresponds to the initial airport start-up period.
Restoration & Fleet Strengthening
The Rabupura-to-Botanical Garden route had been discontinued earlier due to low usage. The services remained suspended during the four-month period until buses restarted their operations between late April through early May 2025.
Move towards E Bus Deployment
It predicts the buses will become “completely comfortable” while coming up with modernization plans. The entire region reports that electric bus services are currently being developed.

The Noida residents who live in sectors 17, 20, 21 and 26 will benefit from the bus service.

The bus routes operate in parallel with the Ghaziabad–Jewar RRTS which will launch its first phase in 2027 until it reaches its complete operational status in 2030.
