Noida Authority Spent Over 20,000 Crores in 5 Years on Infrastructure Projects

In the last five years, Noida has spent over 20k crores on infrastructure projects out of which 8476 crores have been spent on the construction of metro corridors and Rs.1047 on the development of six multilevel parking facilities. The Noida Authority is working on infrastructure and development work in Noida to provide better facilities and services to the residential buyers as well as commercial space buyers.

As per the officials, out of 20k crores, the authority has spent Rs.3265 crores on the launched projects while the remaining Rs.3227 crores were spent in different stages of completion. Also, two more projects are likely to be launched soon by the authority worth Rs.1168 crore.

The Noida authority had completed three metro corridors- Noida to Greater Noida Aqua Line, Botanical Garden to Kalindi Kunj and Sector 32 to Sector 62 Blue Line Extension. Also, the completed projects include six multilevel and underground parking facilities to accommodate the vehicles. The authority has also launched a mobile app to book the parking slots online in recent news.

The officials claimed that Noida has received a major boost in the health sector. This comes in as the authority has completed 240-bed government hospitals in the region and its construction was completed during the pandemic and was turned into a COVID facility at the time of the pandemic.

Several projects are under construction and are dedicated to being completed within 100 days of the Yogi 2.0 government.
